Technical Support Representative

 

Do you have a background in breaking down complex problems with simplicity and ease? Do your friends and family naturally gravitate to you for technical guidance? Have you worked directly with customers or in call centers? Do you dabble with web development?

If you are nodding your head yes, then PayJunction wants you to leap into our technical support role!

This is a full-time, in-house position at our headquarters in sunny Santa Barbara!  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program payment modules to connect to additional shopping carts
  • Field inbound and outbound technical support calls
  • Appropriate logging of trouble tickets and resolution
  • Build and maintain Account terminals
  • Build teachable, scalable processes and manuals for other employees to follow

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Intermediate web development skills (i.e. Javascript, PHP, Perl, .NET, C#, Java)
  • Linux Background a plus
  • Intermediate HTML and CSS knowledge are a MUST
  • Experience with computers, networking and operating systems
  • Basic troubleshooting capabilities
  • Proven exceptional phone communication
  • Clear and effective phone communication
  • Patience with the ability to politely control conversations
  • Experience with reducing call times in high call-volume centers a huge plus
