This position is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified candidates for in-house employment at our office in sunny Santa Barbara, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support recruiting process from start to finish with a focus on software engineers. 
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role/ candidate requirements 
    • Source candidates 
    • Manage screening process to qualify candidates
    • Schedule and attend interviews 
  • Build employer brand in local and online communities. 
    • Organize and host local Meetups for technologies used by PayJunction's engineering team
    • Attend recruiting events such as resume workshops and career fairs
    • Find and build-out in-person networking opportunities
    • Maintain online career pages including Linkedin, Stack Overflow, and Glassdoor
    • Write social media posts advertising open roles, recruiting events, and company culture

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, plus some recruiting and/or phone experience
  • Interact with all levels within the company, using maturity and discretion
  • Must be approachable, enthusiastic, articulate and driven
  • Proven track record to take initiative and be proactive
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A natural at building relationships and working with others
